Hello from darkest Worcestershire

I am the newest of the new, but I have owned 3 916 series Alfas. I had a very early 3 litre which I sold in circa 2000 and I always missed that car. I owned it for about 3 years and it made me grin every time I drove it. I have just bought a red 3litre GTV with71k on the clock, a very full service history and everything you would hope for in a well maintained car.

It's going to be a project and will be improved as time and money allow.

My daily driver is a 159 1750Ti.

I owned my first Alfa ( a Sud 1200Ti) in 1979 and since then I think that I have probably owned, err, somewhere between 30 - 35 ... I actually lost count about a decade ago. I've had BMWs ( hiss....) and even a Maserati 4200 GT and all sorts of fast Fords etc, but the 3 litre GTV is still without doubt my favourite machine.

Thank you one and all. Pictures will follow. It's been a busy couple of days. I have collected a new rear panel from Northamptonshire and bought a " Cup" front spoiler via eBay. I have been speaking to my tame body shop regarding the paintwork and trying to find some Brembo 330mm front discs and callipers.

I have even found time to drive the car!

So far, so good....
