Greetings from Great Britain

Hello everyone,

A few months back I finally decided to bite the bullet and got myself a 2002 GTV 2.0TS. Originally I wanted a V6,but I'm young and insurance companies in the UK love young guys with sporty cars ( People from the UK will know what I'm on about here) so I decided to go for the TS. Mine's pretty much standard so far. When I got the car it was in a OK condition. Had a few scratches, front wishbones need replacing as well as timing belt kit. So I had that sorted after I got it and enjoying it everyday now.

As for plans.. There are a few. I'm planning to fit some 17inch wheels (looking for zenders or teledials only), Powerflex the rear end, install a decent audio system, polish the whole car. For now... But you never know what you can come up with later... You know how it goes.  :D I'll post a few pics soon ;)

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new GTV. :)

I think teles would be perfect for your car. I regret selling mine.

There's one set of teledials on eBay now,but the guy is asking,in my opinion, way to much for them, because the tyres on  them are some chinese cheapos. I have found a set of Zender Challenge wheels in Lithuania (by the way I forgot to mention I'm actually Lithuanian lol) so my one my friends is going to have a look at them in a few days.  ;)

Those Zenders are a bit '90s looking to me. Teles are maybe too common...

Zender do look nice.

It's ironic regarding Teledials.. When you google Alfa Romeo GTV - almost every car has teledials on it. But when you start looking for a set of those - its almost impossible to find one  :D

I was considering them but wouldn't 18''s make the ride very hard? And I also get the feeling that they would make my car look like a tractor.. I'm not intending to lower it. At least not any time soon  :D

18" would be too much for a daily driver IMHO.

I agree. That's why I'm thinking about 17"s

It's crying for a set of teles :D

I know  :D They don't look that bad from far away, but the gap between the wheel and the rear arch is massive. Then again,I'm not totally sure someone hasn't messed with rear springs. This car has unknown history
