Hello,

 

Half year ago I was searching for a car, BMW 3-serie coupe. Test drove like 10 cars, but those were just normal A-B trip cars, and had no fun with driving in it.

Then I went for I test drive in a GTV with shitty clutch, but I was sold. Damn, what a fun drive was that. Distribution had to be done and also the clutch, and the garage wouldn't do something with the price so I looked further.

 

After a wile I bought my GTV in March this year from a guy who imported this car from Germany in 2006. Already drove more then 10.000km in it.

I like to drive this car a lot, the only downside is the fuel consumption and the side support of the seats. That's why I installed a LPG system and in the future I would like to have some nice bucket seats.

Yes, it's a Edizione Sportiva. Unfortunately it has a bad scratch on the hood, and some small dents on the side due to parking.

Oh, I'm sorry.

 

It's a custom made by a Dutch company who are specialized in this. It's a replica of the Medano 4 pipe exhaust.

 

First picture is made on the TT Circuit in Assen, second and third picture are made towards/on ALARM in Zoetermeer.

Stock mid-silencer is still there, only the stock end-silencer is removed.

And does it very loud now?

Do you think to put some badge at the back or you prefer the clean look?

It's not super loud, but you'll hear the nice Busso engine when you push the throttle. You still can talk normally when you drive 160 kph. I would like to have some more sound, but I think it's going to annoy me at high speed at longer distances.

 

I like the clean look at the back of the car, I'm not gonna change that

I've got also same exhaust combination as you. Only stock mid silencer, but mine had 2 rear silencers (I thought only TB had just one rear silencer).

 

Sound is quite good but not as powerful as it should be. My 939 Spider (4 cylinder 2.2 JTS) sounds better at low rpm, and I only had to change the stock rear silencers for Brera Prodrive exhaust.

Later on I will take some pictures from the bottom of the car, it will get Powerflex PU-bushes at the back wheel suspension.

Then I will be able to show how it's exactly assembled.

Got the poly-bushes installed today for the rear suspension!
