Hello from Roma

Hello everybody! Compliments for your cars, I think among the best looking 916!;)   I'm Alex, from Italy, Rome, and I'm owner of a '00 Gtv 2,0 V6 TB L buyed 13 ears ago. In my family we had also others Alfas: an Alfetta 2.0 L in 1981, the absolutly first sold Alfa 164 V6 Turbo (my fhater booked the first one many month ago before the presentation) a 166 3.0, and finnaly I buyed that Gtv allthrough before I was  undecided between various TT225cv, Bmw 330, Boxter etc but  finally I opted for the 916, more carismatic, rare etc.

Here some pics..

Hi Alex and welcome to the forum! :)

You have a very nice and tidy example there! Please park it in our virtual garage also! :)

Wow! Both your car and the photos are superb! I also see some custom work inside, plus the 24v badge on the boot?! As Paso suggested, maybe it is time for a dedicated topic :)

Thanks guys. Your cars are very nice! I "parked" in the virtual garage;)  i puted the "24v" badge just to cover an scrach when I removed the "2.0" badge and then I changed the order:)  Inside I changed the shift knob with  an "6m" of the 147 for an aesthetic reason  (because the original one started to spoil and also because I think likes an baseball ball) and maybe with a view to put in the future the gearbox or of a 166 V6 TB or of maybe better one longer from a Gtv 3.0 or 3.2. I shortned also the shift lever about 3cm. I changed  the instruments graphic (now the marked top speed is 300kph) and I'm changing all the inside lights in red. The buttoms stil green.. I put also the rear courtesy lights likes the Ferrari Scaglietti and in the same position. The doors  buttons are the originals Alfa aluminium. All courthesy lights inside (door included) are with smds The bigger work is the "beige style" project :)  I buyed leather of a similar colour of the sits and when I have time I take a piece and I work on, so what you can see is work in progress..
