A great treasure you found in the boot

What a nice car...

Because of you... Thursday evening in Paris... I saw three 9-3 cabs I'd never noticed before you introduced your new baby

You realize that you've made a steal? These trolls are listed at 10-20000€!!!

2950,- that makes it 10 euro per horsepower. Sounds like a great euro to power ratio to me ;-)

The badge on the dashboard says that 51 are built.

It is so hard to find any info on this model.

I wish I had some luck.... :)

You live in Norway. I call that being lucky.

Evoman have you make any contact with Hirsch? I still think that this car is "converted" to Troll R. It is very strange to me to not have information about 900 Troll by Hirsch, if such car have been made.

Does it mentioned something about Hirsch in the service history of the car. How is described the car in the documents.

The car is cool  .

Yes, I have some email exchange with Hirsch in Switzerland? The car is a mystery to them to. All the parts are original Hirsch. They say it was built by a Hirsch Saab dealer in the Netherlands as a showcase. More news when I get it from Switzerland.

This is such a great car. Saabs and Alfas have much in common. I always said that if I weren't driving Alfas, I'd definitely drive Saabs.

The build quality of the 916 is much better. The Saab has hard plastic and so many interior noises. Plastic parts just break off. Terrible.

My 98 Spider was much better built. Who would have guessed!

This is no 900, it's the first generation 9-3. What year is the car produced?

Actually it is a 900 with the 9-3 front and rear.

Evoman, will be good if they can give you information about this car.

1998. It had the cosmetic update to be a 9-3. So it is a 900 that looks like a 9-3.

The engine is a 2.0 that has been converted to a 2.3 Full Pressure Turbo. After the Hirsch upgrade it kicks out 309 bhp.

I have discussed with Hirsch to kick out some more horses.

If the engine and gearbox are strong enough why not. But be prepared to change the front tyres more often  :D . But if you are not a fan of drag racing and/or street racing there will not worth it in my opinion  :dknow: . And also the car will become not so funny on "more normal" driving on the streets.

I haven't seen more powerful off the shelf package from Hirsch (for engines with similar capacity), so if they agree to upgrade your saab more it probably have to be custom one and expensive.

And here is one interesting test between Alfa Romeo 156 GTA and SAAB 9-5 Hirsch  :)
