Thank you, its only done 86,000 miles from 1998 with full service history from specialist ferrari/lambo/alfa/lancia/fiat mechanic. Paid 4400 GBP or 5350 Euro's. Considering Australia is the Ass End of the world and everything is always expensive, I think for a V6 3.0L, I didnt do too badly!

I would love to own a HSV Maloo. But only available with the steering wheel on the " wrong" side.

I do like Aussie UTE's.

It seems that a GTV suits your occupation a bit better ;-)

The only difference is the 0 to 60 mph speed. 6th gear has more or less the same gear ratio as 5th on a 5 speed.

I do love the early ph 1 cars

What wheels are you considering? 17 inch seems big enough.

Sent from my Skoda Entertainment System

I like your current wheels. The are the Ph.3 wheels. I would happily fit those under my Spider ( with a huge sence of pride actually )

Those 111-DC remind me of Lamborghini wheels. Sharp and edgy.

What tyre set up are you thinking about?

I would keep it black, the two tone does not fit the black theme so well. Black looks mean!

im a big guy, not your usual smaller shorter italian lol must be the water in australia, so id like the car to be a little chunkier

i am also purchasing a Q2 end of this month cant wait

in england it costs 595 pounds and 795 to fit

in australia the diff costs 1000 AUD (sent from england)

and to fit is 2000 AUD i said to the mechanics...

how come in england the part is 595 and only 795 to including fitting (200 pounds to fit)

yet you guys want 2000 dollars to fit and the part is only 1000 to buy and sent over from england..

and the diff mechanic goes, oh they must have the right tools etc over there, i said yes but you are a diff mechanic 30 years experience you are telling me it takes 4 hours labour in england but 20 hours here?

fuck me.

I see that you are big fan of upgrades especially optical ones  ;) . First about upgrade list. What body think did you mean - Cup,Autodelta,Cadamuro or custom one. What is "Dodge Viper Induction Kit"? If you think to buy parts from/for Dodge Viper and use them this is not a option.

About fitting of Q2 diff, the best option in my opinion is to be fitted from someone, who have done it before. That big price for labour is maybe because this mechanic haven't installed Q2 yet and think that this is gearbox out job and it is not and other reason is high economical standard in your country. Just for comparison - Q2 install in Bulgaria is 60-70 euro for labour :P (by experience mechanic).

Here is one link for installation of Q2 -> link . If search you can find info about installation. In my opinion it is not so difficult job for experience mechanic. I don't know the price of Q2 in Bulgaria, but it have to be ordered from official dealer and I don't think will be cheaper than on some places on the net. I have bought mine from Autolusso, in the end of 2010 I think, for 450 pounds with free shipping, but now the prices are higher. Quaife have similar or lower price and looks like better option now. There is alfisti from Australia with Q2, try to contact with them about installation.
