Veloce from Holland

Hi,

My name is Rik, 28 years old and living in Maastricht (The Netherlands), about 60km north of Spa-Francorchamps.

I used to drive only rear wheel drive-Alfa's, but since my girlfriend didn't like to drive them I tried a 155 V6 and I actually liked it, haha!

So the list of cars I had the first couple of years were mostly Giulia's and 75's. (+ a Spider series 3 & Alfetta 2.0 Saloon + GTV)

After the 155 I had a 166 2.0TS and 164 V6 Turbo (same engine as 916) as daily driver.

In 2011 I bought a GTV 3.0 24v fase 2. This is absolutly my favorite of the FWD-car and has a fantastic engine. I allready had the 3.0 12v (75), 2.5 12v (155) and V6TB (164) but the 3.0 24v is simply fantastic!

Besides that, the 916 was one of my favorite sportscars of all time since one of my fathers friends bought one of the first Spiders in 1995. It was a black one and still remember how that car just excited me als a 11 year old kid.

With my current GTV I had some problems with, mostly electrical, but also made some nice modifications like a Ragazzon-exhaust, xenon-headlights, yellow Koni-shocks and Eibach-springs.

The colour is Grogio Eclisse with black leather, but I'm going to put a red interior in it. (got the seats, still looking for a red carpet)
