Not many at this time as they were only eligible for import to Canada last year as the 1996 model. There is another one in my town as I was the one who imported it and sold it. My car is much nicer than the first as it only has 23,000 kms on it. Actually the one I sold was also a beauty with 45,000 kms. We occasionally have car meets...........the whole two of us....lol.

Right now yes, she is tucked away in a heated garage awaiting spring which should arrive in 3 weeks or so. After several months of topless road trips she will once again be tucked away for winter at the end of October. Not a bad season of glorious driving.

When you say that only the 1996 models are available to obtain is this due to the Import rules - cars must be 15 years old ?

Yes that is correct. Currently the 97 models are available as long as the month that they were produced matches the month of entry to the country. So if the car was built Oct. 97 we can't bring it in until Oct. of this year.

As you know, lots of unique vehicles available in Japan. The amazing part is that you can still get a super low mileage 15 year old vehicle in pristine condition.
