V6 TB have AFM (flap type flow meter) and probably it can be destroyed only with LPG explosion :D. Any cone air filter without box will give much more suction sound. If the wet filter is not over oiled before installation, probably will not have any problems (I don't have personal experience). K&N make statement about that. For me dry filter is the best option - Apexi Power Intake, RamAir filter.

New Brembo brakes at the back with custom brackets thanks to Fabian!

With original calipers now got 295mm instead of the original 240 :happy0045:

Its plug and play with the custom adapters, didn't need to change the cables.

Also got the front 330mm Brembo's with the same drill

The rear breakes are from the Fiat Ulysse right?

A nice old solution to get much better looks on the rear axle

Good brake upgrade for these big 19" wheels  . What disk and pads did you use? And I think that my 215/45/17 tyre are low and now I see that you use 215/35/19  :o at the front. Probably you have very smooth roads in Holland or for you styling is very very important. I remember that have read something on the subject (style and beauty vs comfort and practicality of wheels) from one AUDI owner in their forum here:

" ... there is something very important of owning one car, when you walk to her you have to like it!"  ;)

P.S. If I have such space for brakes (19" wheels instead of my 17") I think that will go for something much bigger than my current setup (calipers and discs)  :D  :smile23: .

I know a couple of 916 that they have done this modification before.. and many 147/156.

It is a great update if you have 330 discs on front.

The old 240 discs look ridiculus small especially in combination with bigger wheels like yours.

Joris you don't say anything for pads that you are using. It will be good to write your opinion for comparison with old brake setup  :)

Thanos can you give more information about rear brake upgrade from Fiat Ulysse (if you want in another topic) I don't remember to have come across such upgrade. There is rear upgrade kit by Tarox.

These are indeed discs suitable for the Fiat Ulysse (amongst others).

Great thing is that the bore is correct (5x98), only negative thing is that the dish is a lot deeper.

The bracket is a really simple one, the swept area of the disc is perfect for the small 916 pads as they cover the disc completely.

We didn't change the pads, as this was a low budget upgrade.

Considered respraying the nets in the fender vents in a slightly darker color?  :)

I considered that yes, 2 weeks ago i mounted the original cup back panels behind the nets, didnt had these becouse they are quite rare.

So now you can't see the chassis anymore it looks already a little darker.

Maybe i will spray them dark grey almost black then its more delicate.

Tommorow its Equal length front pipes mounting day :happy0045:  :happy0045:  :happy0045:

It is very good that you can use this small number plate sticker on the front instead of big number plate with bracket for it. Pininfarina hasn't think about big number plate installation when made front design of 916  :D .
