Will do Paso!

So bought this steering wheel from 166! never seen it before so i think its pretty unique.

The 166 steering wheel fits the 916 perfect, there's only a little gab between wheel and key/steeringbox.

First the wheel is going to Polen there going to make something special out of it!

see picture of the 156 wheel.

There going to increase from 385mm to 355mm, flatten the underside bigger/larger grip etc.

offcourse with red stitches :)

Also got this ventilation ducts with chrome rings!

Will look nice in combination with the sportiva chrome speedo rings

Keep you posted.

Did some research, and i'm going to install radio/cd with mp3 of the 156 (fase-3 916) i already have fase 3 console so it will 100% fit.

I'm getting 2 plugs from steering wheel and radio so the electrics of the steering wheel will work properly for volume and track search.

Just have to do some new wires.

Radio and fase-3 console will be painted high gloss black like its now already with the fase-2.

Ho-ho-ho! Now this is something I like! :) I can see that you have taken our criticism about the non-Alfa steering wheel seriously! ;)

Haha yes i did.

The Raid steering wheel has fantastic grip and size, realy good for sportief driving.

But i agree the aftermarket look is les pretty.

So i decide i take best of 2 worlds, standard wheel with raid grip.

Only the company is very slow with answering email!

So patience is a must.

Hope that i can get the buttons work propperly!

Would be realy nice controling radio!

Ok its not my cup of tea but i do like it in older classic cars!

I had one in my ex 84 spider and my 81 Mini.

Alfa friend here also got the 166 wooden steering wheel build in check :

I think I like that wooden streering wheel. It matches very good with the beige leather.

Can't wait to see your new steering wheel though.

I agree. I don't like the wood/alu combination, but mine is P1 so no aluminum inside. Oh, and brown leather soon, so i think it would fit.

BTW... did the radio controls came with the steering wheel? I like those :)

Changed the color of the counters from green to red!

Thank to Charlee!

First dismantled some counters from V6 so we only got the plates.

Then removed the green folie with acetone.

I bought red folie milky transparant and glued them on the back of the plates.

Now its waiting for the F3 buttons for window heating etc etc to come and everything is red instead of green.

I love them, really a superb wheels! And I think they are perfect match for a black car! However, IMHO they will not look so great on a red car because of the ornament design; yes, I have that silly theory of mine that not only colour but also the wheel design pattern is dependable on the car colour! To me the same wheels may look different on a different colour car! Of course, they are some neutral designs, but some are very specific.

Can't wait for your Summer 2013 series photos! :)

Its a very strange design of rim so many lines, its unique in form and that was wat i wanted.

I also like the 3 piece superleggera's maybe one day i replace the centers.

I have tryed to shop my wheels under youre car and i must say.... I think they look very nice! :happy0045:

But offcourse looking better under my car ;)

Joris, in case you stumble over 4x18" Zender Siena send me a private message I'd happily buy a set in mint condition or as close to mint as possible for the GTV 916 (5x98).

Great looking Spider and love the seats!

Oliver
