A few photos with some of the 916s present at the traditional alfisti meeting from Romania, hope you like them
-
They are 17", i don't think they are Zender wheels..
-
Charlee, you know you are always welcomed to our meetings! Full picture set here: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.550971871606128.1073741828.141712162532103&type=3

Amazing cars you have there, Michael! Kunev: the Brera is sitting on Novitec springs, 40mm lower than stock. The front lip is some custom modified "DTM" spoiler from Alfisti.net.

Couldn't agree more

You simply cannot compare a Twin Spark engine with an M3. Get your hands on a Busso, it still won't be quicker than an M3, but you get more power and nerve then what you are used to now, I'm sure you will be impressed. And I'm sure you won't be that impressed by the M3 afterwards.

You have a Montreal?! Amazing! I sometimes dream of owning a Montreal or a SZ

The car I mentioned was a 156 GTA, had Q2 fitted, Intrax coilovers and 18" OZ Superleggera wheels. The Brera was a 210bhp diesel remapped with DPF off, KW V2 coilovers and OEM 19" TI wheels. Are the busso GTVs better in terms of handling than the 156 GTA? To be honest, handling didn't seem the strongest point of my Spider. I agree it is a convertible, thus decreased rigidity and higher roll, but it was on Sport suspension and 18" Wheels, and wasn't such nose heavy as the Busso. For example, i had a diesel GT before, with Q2 and EIbach suspension (later on with Bilstein B14 coilovers), that car handled impressive indeed!
-
You think so? I found the GTA pretty good, seems I have never driven a proper GTV then
-
Depends on what you understand by drivebility. If you mean cornering/braking, it certainly feels heavy and probably slow, although it's not (slow, because heavy surely is). We once compared a moded 156 GTA and a remapped Brera (both on coilovers) on a twisted road and they were doing about same speed in corners and straight lines. But I agree, as I said, the Brera is more of cruiser than a sports car.
-
Thanks Toxy, I really like your 146 too, so clean! Paso: it feels more modern, more solid, better built, but alot heavier. Even if it's alot faster (should be around 250HP/600NM now, it's been remaped with DPF off), it's more of a cruiser than a sports car.

What a lovely color combo!
-
Keep the stripe, fits the whole red/black interior theme. Can't wait to see it fitted!

I had an obsession for a long time with Zender Siena's on Spider, but they don't look as good as they do on the GTV. They don't look bad either, but in my opinion, the OEM Teledials look better (which already is your winter setup).

Paso sugested I post some pics of my new Brera, so here it goes:
-
It is a dedicated HU, when turned on, the display shows the Alfa Romeo logo.
-
Some of the pictures I took at Geneva MotorShow.

Guys, I'm afraid I have some sad news: starting from last week, my beautiful Spider has a new owner. It's been 2 great years we spent together, it's been a wonderful car, and I surely will have another Spider 916 someday, Busso powered this time. I first intended to make the switch to a 939 Spider, but I've been offered a beautiful low mileage / highly packed Brera which I couldn't refuse. However, I will stick around, as I really love the cars and the people around here!
-
Hi Kunev! Still haven't fitted your suspension yet? It's almost one year since I sent it to you..
-
Same color scheme as mine! Can't wait for new pics!
-
My God, just seen this! Amazing cars, great photos, excellent event! Bravo!

Hey guys, I'm selling the OEM intercooler from a GT 1.9JTDm. It's used, but in good condition, it was on my car until I decided to upgrade to a bigger FMIC. The reason I post it here is because I think it is ideal for a GTV/Spider Turbo/Compressor conversion Price is 50E + shipping.

Looking great! What's the problem with the driver's side window?
-
Come to Romania and we'll make some! haha
