I can only presume so until proved otherwise WE have no record of ownership of that Cup number before. Its a full Cup kit on it and a plaque as well. So either its a fake and he has added all of the above and a CUP badge which are impossible to get or its real and he/she or a previous owner has customized it re the steering wheel and the interior trim I go with its a customized Cup. I went past about half an hour later and he had left Spa so I never got a chance to say hello and ask.any questions Alan

I saw a European Silver version of the GTV Cup today whilst at Spa Italia Number 45 was on the plaque It had a different all cream/brown leather interior though and a phase 1 steering wheel. Strange choice Alan

Are any members going to Spa Italia at the end of April ?? http://www.spaitalia.be/index.html I am driving down on Friday 27th April to Rheims to take some pictures and drive the old Grand Prix circuit before heading into Belgium to Bouillon where I am meeting some Alfa Crazy people. We are then driving to Spa Francorchamps through the Ardenne.forest on Saturday 28th April. I have arranged to drive on the Spa Circuit on Sunday morning with my Cup so look out for my car going round at 10am. If anyone is going please let me know as it would be good to meet up at Spa Italia on Sunday 29th April. Alan

One more week and I am off to Reims to drive around the old Grand Prix circuit before heading back in to Belgium and the journey to Spa Francorchamps for the Spa Italia meet. Looking forward to it. Lots of Alfa's to look at Alan

Read the articles on the intro of the V6 engine and how at last the car has the engine it deserves rather than the UK basic Twin Park engine that I and everyone else first had Alan

Good news. Let me know hown you find it. The funny thing is I cut and collected most of those articles from the magazines when they came out in 1995/96/97/98 as I had my first GTV at the time. Its good to keep them all ogether and its a interesting view of the 916 model range over the years and in comparision to both time and other companies competitors car's Alan

Very good story of the car and its modifications. I love the red leather interior. Superb. Have you thought of adding a rear spoiler ? I know some people may prefer it as it is but for others a spoiler can add that last finishing touch. Either way great looking car Alan

No Its a UK/ Australian.source more than anything and the V6 engine artivles are the 24 valve 3 litre V6 Still a good read though Alan

Only a few miles away from my home my friend Dave is also a GTV Cup owner. We meet up every so often to look at our cars and have a drink at the Pub. My car on its own first It was after 8pm when we met so the pictures are not the best quality but its always good to see two Cup's together.. He is having a new exhaust system fitted tomorrow morning so it will be interesting to see what he chooses. I hope to have him as a new member shortly here so hopefully lots of pictures to follow Alan

I think most people probably don't notice ! We live in our Alfa Bubble world where any of us would notice in a flash. To many folks its just two red cars side by side. Still I love looking at mine and two Cup's side by side is always good. Its also fun to compare notes and see what we are both up to, and to see what plans are scheduled and think about a drive etc Alan I see that Cup 67 's owner has now joined the forum - welcome Dangerous Dave
