In August last year I visited the Alfa Romeo Owners Club National Alfa Day and it was full of those fantastic Alfa's we all love. Lots of cars going back 50-70 years ago and modern cars up to the Mito and Guilletta In 2011 we had approx 50 GTV's and almost 40 of the 916 Spider's lined up facing each other. Typically for a English summer day we battled the rain but thankfully we did eventually get the occasional hint of sunshine. It was a cracking Day though with llots to see. There was seven Cups in attendence and we managed to put six together towards the late afternoon (Cup 16 had gone sadly) when the sun and the blue sky appeared On show in the parade are Cup's 50. 78. 80. 153. 154. 155 If you are in England in August this year it is well worth coming over and make sure we have even more GTV's and Spiders on display. Foreign visitors are welcome. Alan

Some of my favourite cars include these ... First of is a picture of me and the wonderful Maserati A6 GCS Monofaro from 1947 This was taken before the start of the Mille Miglia last year. Then it has to be Lamborghini The fantastic 350 GT, the first production Lamborghini ever and the sensational Muira S Two great cars My son's favourite is the new McLaren MP4 -12C Well as you can see he loves that car What do other members like ?? Jon, Welcome to the Forum. National Alfa Day is over at Ripon this year (2nd Week of August) and there will be lots of GTV's and Spiders to see. Perhaps a trip across the M62 ?? Get some pictures posted of your car ....and the engine in the Garage section Alan
