Simply pull up the grey plastic around the gear stick, just use a bit of force nothing will break, and unclip the little clip around the top of the gear stick that hold the leather in place.

Last off-topic, I promise (don't believe me, Joe ) I know, Jon. Signal appearance is because of me. Sunroof switch is a very rare item, and quite precious for all those who have an electric roof on their 916, Because all of them break (sooner or later). I can make a fortune if I get all of them. Anyway, Joe's bella is still impressive!!
