Seems to be an exact color match.

I just noticed that Kermit the Frog was skinned for the leather.

So good. No question mark. On my iPhone I cannot edit posts. So it was not a question ;-)

Zoe yellow and blue style looks very good. Very rare also. Your Spider looks so good.?

Omg. That looks like a huge job. I can imagine that took you quite some time. Nice end result. Top job! I had the same thing with my gearbox, had it flushed and new oil and now it shifts smoother then ever before. Actually small metal particles where found. By flushing you remove these, and less damage by those particles.

We have so many speedbumps here, after a couple of weeks, you can fasten the front mountings. I mean, they have become slightly undone. This because of the flexing/ torsion of the car. The back is not so terrible, but the extra strip made a completely tight seal. You will notice that the hardtop needs to set after storage in the summer. The shape is slightly off. Still, the best solution for the winter period.

I actually like it. Those are 6 series wheels?

I have bought some tape at the DIY store. I removed the hardtop and made an extra seal on the inside of the hardtop. Now the road noise is much less. It seems that after some speed bumps, the hardtop sets itself after a while. Re tensioning helps a lot. The car is now finished completely and she is online waiting for the right buyer.

And the speedo / rev counter The picture is a bit shaky, I did this before my morning coffee.

Ok, today was a productive day. I fitted the chrome rollbar, off course I had to take the hardtop off first. After that, I adjusted the hardtop for about 4 hours, now there is no wind/road noise coming in. It fits like a glove....or a hardtop. After that I updated the Parrot. No result.....I swapped it with another Parrot, now works fine. After that, the dials......I sent my wife away, so I had some peace and quiet. She could not hear the swearing, so win / win situation. Luckily I had a spare unit, so I practiced on that one. The key is to wear thin rubber gloves ( no fingerprints on the dials ) use child friendly glue ( not so aggressive ) and work clean. Mark how the dials where set, before you take the unit apart. Remove the needles gently with a fork. Clean the surface before you stick on the new facias. It is not so hard to do, the only pain where the white rings behind the dials, they kept moving all over the place. So I glued them on with 4 tiny drops of glue. Put in the new backlights and back into the car.

Your Alfa GT wheels are possibly the best wheels for a 916. I just love them.

I was thinking :

I see now, that rear upholstery is a sort of continuation of the door cards. Same pattern all the way around.

I see a picture. Try this link :http://i39.tinypic.com/4jvslf.jpg

Thanks buddy.

The master has done it again. A kick ass set of dials for my 75. Red to match some interior details. For everyone that has doubts. Order some dials from Charlee. It is these little details that make all the difference.

I would like mine black with red stitching please. I have never seen it before, but I want it.

I realise that insuring your car works in a different way, in different countries. So this topic might not be as useful or relevant for all of us. Here in Holland, I can only insure my car, because of its age, in a pretty basic way. That is just the way it is. Even if I want to pay more, the insurance company does not want to accept. What to do with all de modifications we do to our cars? If my car burns down tomorrow, I only get 2300 euro's. A ridiculous low amount of money. What I can do, is ask an independent surveyor to value the car in it's current condition. He will make up a report. But, this does not mean the value paid by the insurance company goes up. It is only a way to dispute the money paid out by the insurance company. What else? Well, actually I was told that keeping a record of your modifications on a forum, can help you. It works as a sort of logbook of all the work done. The problem, at least over here, is that Alfa Romeo's are valued very low. A classic car insurance is also not an option. Some company's offer a youngtimers insurance, but if you read the smallprint, it is only slightly better then the basic insurance, but at a heavy premium price. A tip to all, keep all invoices. Keep a logbook. Even if you buy parts, from forum members or online auction sites, keep the postal delivery papers. I know this sounds silly, but it helps you build your claim case of an insurance write off. I know one of our fellow forum members is in a dispute with his insurance company over the value of his car. You might think this is to much work, but 10 small purchases of 100 euro/pound or yen also add up to 1000 euro/pound or yen. If you get an appraisal from a surveyor, revise it every now and then. Because with the most of us, the modifications are never ending. If you have any suggestions, feel free to comment.

Lets not forget the photography. Also very high class. I have never seen the black upholstery that you have in the rear. The black upholstery above the rear storage area. Did you have this tailor made?

Silver and tan leather. A very surprising combination. Surprising in a very good way. Great attention to detail, the steering wheel fits style and colour of the leather. I give you 2 thumbs up.

A Cup on Sienna's is so smoking hot, it is rated 18+ only.

I just love your website.

Welcome Nick, somehow I missed this introduction. Enjoy the forum.

Those wheels are terrible. They did not even look good in the 90's.

If you have 16000 euro's laying around. Here is a huge opportunity for you. A brand new GTV Cup with the 2.0 TS engine. Brand new and unregistered. Seems like the bargain of the year. Imagine this...a GTV with a new car smell. It seems to be sitting around at an Italian car dealer. Why? Let's find out. Who speaks Italian?
