You can buy a lot of car for 10k !! If it was my money I wouldn't be spending it on the 8.32. It might have a Ferrari engine and a luxury interior but it has the looks of a card board box. I'd rather invest in a 3.2 Bi turbo Maserati.

I always wanted a V6 !! I love my 2.0L TS Spider it is my first Alfa, 6 years in and still love roof down motoring, I will never sell it. The Cup came up for sale locally with low mileage and full service history, at a reasonable price too, I had to have it.

My car has been nominated and entered into the "car of the year" competition on the AlfaOwner.com along with 27 other mixed Alfas and 3 other 916 Alfas. Wouldn't it be good if a 916 Alfa won? please vote for my car if your registered on that site. http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/poll-room/500737-alfaowner-car-of-the-year-2013-vote-now.html

I recently bought Cup 131 early November 2013. It needs painting also but once the paint is refreshed don't they look great? . My new purchase is tucked away in a garage atm, roll on spring for work to be carried out

Keep the rams and hydraulic pump, also hood ecu, these parts are no longer available. What a pickle you would be in if yours was to fail and you sold the spare 1 you had.

Nice, they look like a lower profile. The wheels really suit your car.

@Evoman Great picture. What size wheel & tire do you have on your spider?

Just voted. Some really good photos and pretty cars. we're all winners owning these great motors.

I've added my photo. Sadly it was the last time I drove her when the weather was still nice. No autumn pix !!

Hello group !! I bought this Spider earlier in the month of June (2013) The colour is Verde Acido Metallic. Its quite a rare colour as Alfa only painted this colour on the ph1 cars in the UK between 1996 & 98. My long term plan is to restore the Spider back to a decent standard and use it as a show car to promote our products. As you can see its far from its best and needs alot of work !! I have already found some wheels I'm thinking of fitting to it (17" Zender winners) A few pictures of the car as it is. Andy

I'm putting an end to this thread as the car was vandalised in the yard I share and its beyond economical repair !!

If you want to travel to the UK and collect, I have a newly set of 4 wheels that have just been refurbished to a very high standard !! Pm me for details...

And black !! But not the same as in wheelnuts Spider. I'll find a pic Edit, picture added.. The car was an original ph1 GTV with a rare black with red piping momo interior. With plastic side panels like the normal ph1 seats. The seats have since been sold to a morris minor enthusiast. I'll get my coat

Cheers CHARLEE. I like your trail of thought there !! I hadn't really thought of a direction to take the car just wanting to get it up & running first. But a good standard car is always a winner in my book. Especially seeing as the proteo Spider has uprated parts on it. Hmmm, food for thought

I didn't see any GTVs or Spiders in Bulgaria when I spent a bit of time in Sofia a few years back, most of the lads there were driving SLK Mercs or something similar. I'm pretty sure the acid green colour was offered to the european market as I've seen a lefty in this colour. I agree with you about the wheels the 17s will look much better I'm having oil pressure problems with my proteo red Spider's engine at the moment, it could be something simple like a blocked oil pick up. The top end has been starved of oil and acquired a little tap So the spare engine is being rebuilt with head work and fast road cams fitted. The block will be rebuilt and refitted it the red car. The engine I take out of the red spider with 3K miles on it will be checked and problem fixed then fitted in the acid green Spider. Plans change, all will be good in the end
