I got my weismann hard top from butt head, a member from this site. He told me he had to go back to weisman for the rear heated screen wires and hard top mountings. So they "did" still sell them.
-
That is cheap at £462 !! I wonder if the fittings are included? Your looking at another 2/300€ for these if not.
-
Don't tell me that I always wanted a Saab turbo
-
They are a German manufacturer and these springs are meant to be OE spec. I'm aiming to get the car ready for the Spa meet in September
-
I like the Saab, but the steering wheel is on the wrong side.

Some good news and bad today !! Bad new first. The exhaust doesn't fit fully the cat back part does but the last section doesn't line up with the final hanger, So now I have no choice but to have another end section made up. Now for the good news, lots of parts have arrived I'm running out of space at my lock up so will need to start making an effort to fit some of these goodies.

I do like that dark colour grey. Nice car you have there. :thumb up:
-
The seats don't look too bad. Similar to the Alfaholic seat. Now lets see what they look like in the car !,.?
-
I notice at around 4k rpm the 24V takes off. The cf3 engine is ment to have a better ecu that helps the engine deliver more top end power. (Cf3) Ecu attached to the intake plenum.
-
From what I understand the 12V has a little more low down grunt but also a mid range flat spot compared to the 24V. I thought this was the Spider thread. Lol
-
Jolly good ole boy !! Tell me more, what engine does she have?
-
Welcome Steve, mighty impressive 10 years ownership !! I couldn't bring myself to sell my TS Spider owned for 6 yrs. Also hankering for a V6 I recently bought Cup 131 to add to the collection You're amongst true alfisti here. Looking forwards to seeing the pictures of your car
-
I was looking for an OE equivalent shock, semi-sporty in acceptable
-
I'll let you know as soon as I find out.
-
Well done on the new purchase, looking forwards to photos ! Sent from my sofa in the front room.
-
Because these are new into the UK I don't have any information at this point. As soon as I can I will post an update. Maybe in a week or so
-
I couldn't agree more. This is the current colour scheme with my Spider atm.
-
Thats exactly what I was thinking What paint did you use or did you pay someone to do the work for you? Also what strut brace is that?
-
I can try a couple of different colours with the cam covers. I'm thinking crinkle black at the moment. If it works I'll keep the original to change back if I wish. With the suspension, I've ordered new OE springs with Koni STR "street" shocks. These are from the first of the new batch coming into the UK. The str strut is an oe equivalent made by Koni ( non adjustable)

This being my first V6 GTV I'm not familiar with exhaust setups. The cup has a CF3 engine and has 4 cats on the manifolds. I plan to keep 2 boxes with the rear setup I have just bought and will see if the sound is right for me. If not I'll get on the phone to the wizard and ask for 1 of his Ferrari 355 sounding cat back systems

More parts have arrived. The oil cooler is a 19 row rad from mocal. I'm not overly excited with the exit of the exhaust so I might change the set-up slightly removing the last box and with a straight end section, also change the tip with a duel exit 1 side, something like this........ .....00../.............\........ Full suspension replacement has been ordered and should arrive within the next couple of days.
-
No thats it, you've ruined it for me now I think I'll give it a miss : D
-
I had to Google Iso Grifo. Never seen 1 of those either I'll defo be making the effort to attend in the cup. I'm just in the process of updating the suspension and exhaust, so watch out on the thread
-
Never thought of going to spa until now. I asked the misses if she would like to go, she says "if you don't drive like a loon" I said " oh forget it, it's not your cup of tea anyway !!" Less weight in the car is a +
