Shame that you don't have bioethanol E85 like we do.. it likes higher compression ratios Anyway, good work, looking forward to new posts!

Haah! Seriously, you could be right... this winter sucks so bad here. But it might be better in Norway... what's it like, duden?

She's cute, but she needs a 240. I'm telling you. Or better yet, an Alfa Romeo...
-
I used Mann's own catalogue: C 1589/3. The V6s use the same filter, apparently. No difference in height as far as I can see.

The workshop manual doesn't say

There's something special about them that the 740/940s don't have. I also turn my head at a 240 in good original condition. Mine doesn't quite fulfil the criteria for "good original condition" but people seem to like it anyway

Gotta admit two things... I like my Volvo 240 a lot. Thought I wouldn't care about it and just drive it like the teenager I almost still I am... but it's a nice to bouncy around with a tractor-like engine and gearbox. Actually, that rusty Volvo inspires just as many happy reactions from people as the Alfa does! Second, it's not snowing so I'm going by bike... or a company car. So I'm not driving neither the Alfa nor the Volvo at the moment.

I've been busy changing jobs so I haven't gotten much done except collecting some parts. An oil temp gauge for €10 including delivery, for example. The brand is Autogauge so it isn't exactly VDO, but gets decent reviews and usually costs like €60. Worth a try! A question: The threads for the top screws on my filter box are gone and I've never seen one fitted. Should I tighten the nuts all the way so that the edge of the box and the lid seal against one another? Feels like filter would get damaged. Altho it flexes a little, I doubt it flexes enough for the edge of the box and the lid to meet. Tell me how you guys did it

Such an overrated idea!! Excuse my ignorance... Is that a Thema? Lampredi 2.0 Turbo AWD?

What's wrong with UK Cups? Nothing. Welcome! Or... Wait. They're wrong side drive... But otherwise fine

Post a thread here in the weird cars department!

Yes, I've been wondering what difference a modern ECU would make! Please report in detail!

I wanna see the invoice for shipping from the Canary Islands...

Speaking of dragging everyone over the same comb (close but no cigarr, Mr Svendsen ): I should think that Maserati ownership would be perfect for Norwegians! Absolutely ridiculous spare parts prices and service costs are easily countered by pumping some more liquid money from deep beneath the Earth's surface...

Yea I heard that the Skyline R33 is the car to get for a guy in your position

Hullo... I managed to order this set of EBC Yellowstuff trackday pads, part no DP41109R. They've got the little spring on top of them and fit early 916 cars with Lucas/Girling calipers. Lists of what cars they fit are available below: Alfa 155 and early MY95-96 916 GTV/Spider Fiat, for example most Fiat Coupes A whole bunch of Lancias, incl Delta HF Integrale, Kappa Turbo, Thema V6 & 8.32 Volvo 440. Don't laugh... It should be noted that I cannot find any proof that they fit Alfa 90 and SZ as the box states. Probably a typo. They're ready to be shipped to you. I'll update the ad with prices for the pads and shipping. OE-referens: 60777621 Brembo: P 23 066, P 23043 Bosch: 0 986 424 374 Roadhouse: RH 2305.32, RH 2305.12

The 24V Busso has oversized valves. What about the 12V? Is the valve enlargement really necessary?

Poor you... accidentally selling it. Klantarsle as we would say in Sweden I've got some thoughts on lightweight seats and intercooler mods. Let's hear yours first?

Sold to the owner of an Alfa 155 Q4...

Worn out bushes and shocks I presume? The ABS isn't working on mine either... I didn't get lucky with a sensor.
