I love the RS-style door cards! Are they just flat sheets of aluminium or wood, or are the shapes complicated on the back! I want to build my own at some point so any advice would be great!
-
Nice! I would have put the Alfa Romeo text on there instead of Brembo tho. There isn't much space between the caliper and the rim, is there? Did you calculate the weight in comparison to Alfa 166 4-pot Brembos?
-
Haha! Luckily the seller still lists 4x98 and 5x98 wheels for very little money. Ask if they ship to Norway
-
Good job! I bet a simple wash and some polish would make it look 10x better too
-
Don't paint the wheels black, please! It looks great the way it is!
-
Welcome! What are you currently working on on the car?
-
If all goes well, maybe I have fitted a roll cage and new coilovers before the thread turns 5... So by Nov 2018...
-
Should handle 235s from most brands of R-compound tires The problem is the same old one... I'm in England and the car is in Sweden. In a few years maybe...
-
Congrats on buying your first Alfa! Autolusso is on the north side of London but might be worth the extra miles.
-
Cool! Good that you took the time to meet up Kunev, you got some appropriate boots for the winter cold too haah!
-
Or... as car reviewer Matt Farah's friend said in a testdrive video recently: Happy wife = happy life! Check out The Smoking Tire on Youtube. He does some nice test drive vids.
-
That's where I bought mine! Couldn't resist when they suddenly advertised so many cheapo wheels. Did you blow the Punto up, or why these "new" cars?
-
Hhaha for real?! Model? Dimensions? From where? You're a nut
-
Great color! I like that you removed all the badges. Now: lower it + spacers or original Teledials
-
It wasn't a scam, they do exist! Arrived the other day. Doesn't matter that they are not the prettiest wheels in the world when they are 17x8" ET30 for £30 each, brand spanking new!
-
Not the prettiest, but don't require spacers and they're wider than the Stilautos that are on the car now. After plasticoating them gun metal grey, they should look OK
-
Since I don't even live in Sweden these days, pics are gonna be a year or two... Yea, apparently the brake job was good, but the ABS has not fixed itself! I'm guessing you live in CPH/Malmö so you would see Po Po asking refugees for paperwork rather often. Or maybe you are a police officer?
-
Just bought 4 x MAK Fiorano wheels... Because I had the opportunity to do it, and they were brand new and cheap! Edit: they are ET30 8x17" = no spacers and more rubber! The car itself has moved to a hangar for long-term storage. Started w/o problems after 8 months and the brakes worked fine. Took backroads to avoid Po-Po because it's currently illegal to drive. Still a quality automobile Still hoping I get the opportunity to "finish" the build with coilovers, swaybars, race seats, Brembo 4-pot calipers and more Could take 2 years, could take 8.

Spider fans, check this out! http://www.blocket.se/goteborg/Hardtop_alfa_spider__99_50054834.htm?aw=1 Screenshot: The advert reads: Black Weismann hardtop from an 1999 Alfa Spider. OK condition. Be advised that it only fits cars with electric hoods 5000 SEK, fixed price. It's located in Gothenburg, Sweden. Thought someone might be tempted
-
Beautiful color! The wheels need changing tho
-
Very nice!! What's the spec?
-
Photos, description and plans, pleaaase
-
I prefer the look in the first photo but the originality of the 8C/Giulietta wheels makes them cool!
-
I feel ya. It annoys me that I cannot keep my GTV project going and probably won't be able to do so for a couple of years to come. I only got started, had so many plans Come on, buy that 3.0-liter GTV already!

More updates, come on!
