Geek points to you, Sir
-
Are you sure? I've seen 11.4 kg stated on alfaowner
-
I'm with you there. I just want the front lip from the aero kit...
-
Here's what I wrote in Evoman's awesome Spider thread: http://www.squadra916.com/forums/topic/3130-evomans-spider-30-12v-1998/ So... I've been down this road before The Zender one seems to work well without the factory side skirts and rear bumper, which is necessary. Changing those too is a deal breaker.

Kunev, I weighed my Stilauto Ghibli wheels today using a luggage scale. You know, one of those you use to make sure Ryanair/(insert a thieving budget airline of your choice) has no chance of making you pay extra for heavy bags... (7.5x17 ET35) Weight: 10.98 kg. So 11 kg, unbelievable? Must be gold inside them somewhere. Edit: I might add that most Alfa factory 17" for the GTV, GT and 156 seem to be weighing around 11kg, according to a couple of threads on alfaowner.com at least. I was hoping that the Stilautos would be a little lighter.

Looks like serious fun One of the red cars has an Aero kit front lip. I want one of those... I want a V6 front bumper too, for that matter. Your car also needs one for the looks, don't you agree?
-
Wondering if this car's been crashed and poorly repaired... Feels like once I've adjusted the bumpers on one side, getting the other side right is impossible. The same goes for the liners and wings... Edit: If all goes according to plan, I have a set of Federal RSR 225/45R17 trackday tires by next week

Congrats! So the to-do list contains just the badge or what?
-
I was gonna quote Shakespeare. Then I decided that it would be creepy.

Easier said than done. My torque wrench is too big (... That's what he said!) and the jackstands aren't tall enough. Will do this when I get the exhaust problems fixed >_>
-
Welcome! Buy a 916. It is one of my favorite affordable cars and buying one is a great idea (no irony ) !
-
Time will tell My deadline is May 1 and I need to get the following things done... Fit the license plates. Very complicated! Torque up everything... caliper brackets being the most important, hehe! Go for a test drive... I've rebuilt so many brake components that I'm a little nervous about this Hook up the ABS thingy to an Examiner thingy and see what it has to say for itself... Check the engine mounts. The car has an interesting rocking thing going when driving with a heavy right foot and fast shifting, almost as if an engine mount is cracked or if they are all ruined. Check if the thermostat is busted. Change the above Fit the grille and the "badge facelift kit" Rebuild the exhaust, involving moving the second silencer and suspending it properly. Driiiive it!

By the way, I'm gonna try this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ALFA-ROMEO-72mm-Aufklber-2x-REPERATUR-147-146-145-166-156-155-Emblem-easyFIX-/111046497916?pt=DE_Autoteile&fits=Make%3AAlfa+Romeo&hash=item19dae3167c We'll see... I'd prefer new genuine badges but my paint job doesn't really warrant new badges
-
It is definitely smaller than M8, tho my guess would have been M6. Thanks! Autoexperten is closer to where I live, so the white house with blue letters on it won't get my money this time...
-
The rear bleed screws... what size are they, really? I've read that they should be either M10x1 or M8x1.25. Mine are not... Managed to bleed the system today with really worn rear screws, so I will replace them when I switch from Biltema (keep calm) brake fluid to ATE Racing Blue
-
Sounds like they warped due to overheating.. Any reason they would do that?
-
Biltema, mastes of retarded tuning products.
-
But I thought the Mito was brand new or almost brand new? Does it need new tires already or did you take delivery of it without summer tires? Summer tires <3
-
Nice! I like the color. I'm not sure about the rear spoiler. Too much Supra for a 156?
-
Hahah, sure! Walking is no problem, but stairs and crawling under cars are problems... Be assured, some car related issues will appear in no time
-
Trip where?
-
Welcome... But where's all the info on you and your car??!
