  1. Welcome ! Is this phase 2? Is it lowered? GTV with sunroof, nice .
  2. Yet another UK Cup...

Welcome here ! This is 3.0 V6 right? Your other cars are also interesting . Look like you are sport cars enthusiast .
  3. Turbo Brutale

So you want one more turbo in the car . Good luck with searching!
  4. Turbo Brutale

Wow, impressive price, if it is real ! My parents want to sell my GTV from some time now, without care to much about the price - 1000, 1000 and something euro will be good for them . And with buying of another "more practical car" even more (they don't know anything about the 155 and for them that is some normal old car). You have mentioned Maserati in this or another topic, so I guess this will be next make . So will make one try - 3200 GT.
  5. GTV V6 TB aka Shewolf

@GTV-TB: I wish you the result to be good and to like it, but I'm very skeptical . And please make a thread about this car finally . @Thanos: In this case I think, that you will find the limit of stock injectors also . But have in mind, that if the tune start with the original injectors and they reach its limits and the AFR can not be keep in good ranges (the duty cycle of injectors is not good to be too high), then installing of bigger injectors will be needed or increasing of the pressure. And if you want to make step forward and not backward and new injectors are installed the fueling have to be tune from beginning and will be good that this will not cost more money for the tuner for additional work .
  6. Turbo Brutale

So if you don't forget about us, will be very interesting what will come next . I guess that will be something more expensive and exotic, but it is interesting to me how it compare to your ex GTV in term of feel. Good luck with searching of good car!
  7. GTV V6 TB aka Shewolf

Will be interesting to see, what can be achieved with original turbo and intercooler. You probably will not use the original injectors even at this point? Probably it is better to be made small changes and see the result after every single, but my concept is the goal to be achieved with least attempt and money for labor and tune. In short - buying of all necessary parts, mounting and fabricating all at once and then tune. That should be some serious turbo and I'm pretty sure that the result from such setup will not be good and you will not like how the car behave. You will have the negatives of the big turbo without the benefit (power). Yes, big turbos are more efficient than smaller ones and the car will run good to the redline, but will spool very slow and useful power band will be too narrow. You will probably say to me that this will be some hybrid will small hot side and big cold one. This work to some point, but it compromise reliability. Too small hot side will limit the efficiency at high rpm and also power and will generate very high temperature in the exhaust and will crack as an old grandmother heels (as some say in Bulgaria). This also probably will be the scenario if you push hard the stock turbo and think too drive for awhile.
  8. GTV 2.0 V6 TB Q2 competizione ... maybe ...

Haven't wrote here for a while, but there isn't anything happen with the car. I'm still waiting the guy, which have to make most of the work. The car is in garage for the winter and the battery is at my home, but hopefully its relaxing sleep will be interrupted by some tuning work. Damgreg, the car work normal after distributor cap and arm change. Previously I have problems, when get out the car for a drive in the winter (at dry weather and not so cold) after it was stayed for some time and with disconnected battery. So will see how it behave, if I get out it for a drive in the winter. But until putting the car in garage for winter, which happen last week it is worked normal. I'm thinking of selling the Garrett GT2860RS, which I have bought originally for the car. It is brand new with a box. It is the model with bigger exhaust housing - 0.86 A/R.
  9. GTV V6 TB aka Shewolf

I was thinking to ask you what happens with this project and now I see that you will go to more serious route and the results will be better . So I have to wait for my car to be prepared and tuned to see what is tuned TB with stock ECU.
  10. bilstein B6 sport for Alfa GTV V6 TB

What is the reason for sale? After all this is out of production and suspension options for our model is very limited (especially for the front).
  11. And another one from the Netherlands

Welcome here ! Nice introduction. All your cars look very nice . Very good photos! Did you make the photos for your magazine?
  12. My new performance car

Something that I bought these days. Two is better than one . So now I have two Apexi AVC-R electronic boost controllers. This probably will be used on the GTV and the other one (left on bellow picture) will stay for the future 155 project.
  13. Sawasdee from Thailand

Welcome here! Very nice and rare car with my favorite color . Also at very low kilometers.
  14. Hello from Montreal Canada

Hi and congratulations for the "exclusive" car !
  15. Saved another....

Good luck with both ! About cars breaking for spares. Here the offers for cars for spares are close to these for complete, working cars. Simply the model is not desirable even at very low price and many prefer to break for spares working cars .
  16. GTV 3l Wanted!

Is the 3.2 faster than mildly tuned TB? If the 3.2 is mildly tuned then - yes. But after all they have different characters.
  17. Yellowstuff pads early 916

It is probably not from this forum.
  18. Olá from Portugal!

Welcome here ! So probably not many alfas there. What model is the Delta on the picture?
  19. Hello from the Netherlands

Welcome here to another petrolhead and true alfista . The red GTV should be the TB and the black 3.0, right?
  20. Alfa at a wedding

I can't see appropriate topic to post 1-2 pictures from the wedding of one very good friend of mine (and a big alfista )
  21. Say hi to everyone!

Welcome to the forum ! I don't know for Poland, but probably your road network is much better than our (Bulgaria). Using of big wheels with low profile tyres amplify the problem and add others.
  22. Ciao Alfisti, from Italy

Welcome here ! That is some very serious project. Please make a topic in "Our 916" section, where to post info and to discuss it .
  23. Another Cornwall hello

Welcome! I admire you that you have decided to restore a Spider instead of buying one in better condition for not so much money .
  24. Hello from Adelaide, Australia

Welcome to another Australian member on here .
  25. Hiya Guys from Cornwall UK

Welcome and give us some info about the car .
