If you like so much your ex car, why don't try to buy it back. For these money may be possible to buy a 996, but maintenance cost will be high for sure . For this budget my goal will be to try to find Integrale Evo 1 or Escort Cosworth. Or if I want something newer - Evo 9. But thats me , you want a classy coupe as far as I understand.

Welcome here Ivan . In Bulgaria the name Ivan (Иван) is among most popular men's names . It is interesting to me, what you have made to this 166 TB, especially if there is some performance . And waiting for results.

Look like opening of the engine was for good. "CPS pistons" offer standard (Ø93mm) and oversize (Ø93.4) pistons for 3.0 12V -> link (check in the products). You can ask them about price and CR options. It will not be cheap. You can ask them about liners also. I have read, that someone have ordered custom liners from them. About E85. Filip is right, all fuel system components have to be compatible with E85 and if the car is tuned for E85 you will need two maps, if you want to run on normal fuel also and for this I think you will need custom ECU. Also fuel consumption on E85 will be higher. Here is one topic about converting to E85 -> link. Which is this german company, that offer higher CR pistons?

Respect to charlee ! You will make it like new! I like removing of the LPG also . About downpipe and exhaust, 2.5" will be fine . The best will be to be fabricated custom downpipe.

Here is the post with links to pictures of first parts of exhaust manifolds -> link. From these pictures the entry in exhaust manifolds on 166 doesn't look much straighter than on GTV ones. But joining of the runners on GTV manifolds is much better than on 166 ones. Cast iron manifolds keep heat inside them better than stainless steel . Also cast iron manifolds are more durable than stainless steel. GTV-TB as far as I understand you have made change to 166 TB exhaust manifolds. So do you feel any difference? And I'm more interested in high rpms.

You could try this diagnostic software -> Star Trek. This car have manifold air pressure sensor (MAP), not MAF or AFM.

As I sad in another topic, that is absolutely not right . Confirmed by an exhaust specialist . GTV TB manifolds have smoother design.

Thanos opinion is surprising to me also, but I don't have any experience with 166, so can not comment categorically. The factory figures also show, that GTV should be faster. Thanos are sure about the stock condition of this/these 166 and GTV also? I expected differences in response from the engine, maybe spool by turbo. .

According to K&N catalog 1.8 TS, 2.0 TS and 3.0 V6 use same filter, which is 235mm height (K&N). 2.0 JTS use different cone filter with height of 249mm.

Congratulations, nice choice for car ! Lancia Dedra and Alfa Romeo 155 are brothers . But Dedra Integrale and 155 Q4 have some differences . Dedra Integrale's engine is like first Delta Integrale - 2.0 8V. 155 Q4 is like Evoluzione 2 - 2.0 16V with coil packs (the same engine like Integrale 16V and Evoluzione 1, but they have ignition with distributor).Dedra Integrale's 4WD system have torque distribution like Delta Integrale 8V - 56/44 F/R, so more torque to the front. 155 Q4 have torque distribution like Integrale 16V,Evo 1 and Evo 2 - 47/53 F/R, so more torque to the back.Dedra Integrale's rear differential is open, but have manual lock with button on the dash and this feature can be used at low speed (up to 25km/h). 155 Q4 have Torsen rear differential like Integrale 16V,Evo 1 and Evo 2. It have torque split of up to 5:1.In short Dedra Integrale use the mechanic of Delta Integrale 8V and 155 Q4 of Delta Integrale Evoluzione 2 . Your car should have electronic suspension as first 155 Q4? But because of the cost on many cars it was replaced with normal dampers and springs.

The car is in garage, stored for the winter under car cover . In the meantime I have bought some nice 155 Q4 brochure at very good price, but on german language. So no complete happiness, but most of it are pictures.

The reason why I ask you about tire's size is because they look very low to me. In my opinion they are even not 40 high ratio and likely 35.
