  1. Zoe Yellow Spider

Love the new wheels! Yellow is also one of my favourite colors on Spider! Take care of her
  2. Turbo Brutale

Crankshaft is destroyed... Totally broken A polished and barely used one is replaced...
  3. GTV 3.2 V6 24V - credulone

Aha, that one.. Heh. I was in between that kit, and FK coilovers in stainless steel housing. I ended up with FK coilovers, because I want to be able adjust the height on the rear axle as well. That said, I dont know if this is the best solution for me. I feel that it is too "bouncy" and hard to control when it is rough surface... On smooth tarmac it is excellent though... I am now looking for Intrax, or a set of carefully used Bilstein shocks...
  4. GTV 3.2 V6 24V - credulone

So is KW coilovers available to GTV V6?
  5. Turbo Brutale

I can give you a detailed feedback on the rebuild as soon as I pick up the car. That should be after this weekend. As a teaser i have attached these photos:
  6. Turbo Brutale

This GTV 916 is a beast.. Approx 500WHP! It is a Norwegian that have built it. And by the way, mine is soon to be finish rebuilt! Hopefully during this week!
  7. Turbo Brutale

Hehe Thanks, but I don't like them. Swapping to Ragazzon asap Same as injectors for 166 3L then...
  8. Turbo Brutale

Looks very neat! Thanks for relpy. Im looking forward to pick up mine and install them as well!
  9. Spider Sportivo

I'm courius on those brackets for the rear brake calipers... Do you fabricate those Fabian? Is it possible to buy a set from you?
  10. Spider Sportivo

Your interior is just the best looking one I've ever have seen in a 916! Just beautiful and so well done! Exhaust must be awesome. I really like the sound in the 3 liter engines. It is just so much more brutal! Waiting for the sound with EL. downpipe now!
  11. Turbo Brutale

The Q2 from EBspares is also without bearings and seals as far as I know. And not much difference in price either. I needed something else from them anyway, so Im getting all parts in the same shipment.
  12. Turbo Brutale

I dont know the limit of the ECU, but +/- 50cc/min should not be any problem.

Mhm! Really sad! The car is finished some time in late June... I don't know yet. I got the car transported to the same garage that did last big service. They will do the rebuild of the engine for me. I had Agip 10W60, and for some reason it was very little oil, but I find that strange, because I have not noticed any consumption or leaks... Therefore I did not check the level either. To use almost 7 liters of oil in just a few hundred kilometers? I ordered this: http://ricambi.alfisti.net/product_info.php?info=p9193_Sperrdifferential-Q2-Alfa-147--GT--156--166--GTV--Spider.html The reason I went for a original alfa Q2 is because this is developed for long-lasting performance by Alfa. It is a little more expensive than the Quaife, but better in the long term. I'm just using original clutch. The GTA injectors are a lot better to original TB and Chipped TBs than the stock ones. A chipped TB are usually running a bit lean, so bigger injectors are a good upgrade on these injectors. I can also use injectors from Fiat Coupe 20VT, but that probably require remap. These from the GTA is within the limit the stock ECU can handle, and the ECU will adapt itself to bigger injectors. My old injectors were fine, but the engine was running to lean so it was "jumping" at full throttle and overboost. I do not have any other thoughts than to rebuild my engine and leave it chipped with new injectors and a new GT2554R ball bearing turbo. (If I decide to replace the turbo at all...) Im going a bit on and off on that... I will probably just change the gaskets and then use the old turbo. Maybe overhaul that one instead. I have a contact that can modify and overhaul it for around 350 EURO. I am very interested in the exhaust system that you're talking about, and willing to wait until I know some more! Hehe It is a good thing to ask questions! The stock ECU is adaptive and within a certain range it will adapt itself to new injectors! It is a good upgrade as the Alfas tend to run a bit lean. I have not been able to install this yet as I forgot them in the workshop. Will come back with a review later...
  15. lets do squadra meeting

I vote for Croatia in July or Nürburgring in september/late august.
  16. Turbo Brutale

Hi Kunev. I'm in no rush now, due to the conrod bearings are broken The engine are being rebuild, and I'm thinking of a GT2860RS turbo upgrade, or just buy a new GT2554R... I have ordered new cluch and Q2 LSD. New GTA fuel injectors are on its way from England. I might as well wait for your solution regarding the downpipe... Sounds interesting! I will as you understand not be able to drive the car to Germany tomorrow... I'm planning a trip to Bosnia and Croatia the 01.july. Hopefully the car is ready for that...
  17. Spider Sportivo

haha.. It was kind of cool with the red stripe, but better all black with red stitching Anyway, your cenrte console with the new radio looks awesome! Was it much job to build in the radio face?
  18. Nurbürgring in May.

Hi. I'm trying to arrange a trip to Nurbürgring the 17/18th of may to the 20. Of may. We are a squad of at least 3 cars that are driving down on Friday the 17. Anyone keen to meet us there? At the moment I'm the only Alfa Romeo, but hopefully more will join..
  19. Nurbürgring in May.

Hi. I have been thinking. There are several guys I know from Norway that is coming down that week you are talking about. I will therefore stay all week and then probably join up to SPA during the weekend after. See you there!
  20. Turbo Brutale

Well, first things first, I agree regarding red hoses in the engine bay looks seriously UNCOOL! I will see if I can find any in black if I'm going to change them at all. Regarding exhaust, I have spoken to a garage in Germany to change the whole system to a ragazzon and then remove the cat at the same time. The reason I looked on this orque stuff was because my downpipe/flexpipe is starting to fall apart...
  21. Turbo Brutale

The best is often the most expensive
  22. Turbo Brutale

So, today I sent a request to Orque in Japan for this: gtvfpipe_big.jpg gtv_intake_big.jpg coolanthose2_big.jpg And on the outside today, someone that need a wash
  23. New GTV 3,2 V6 owner

Nice car, but LPG on this? Will it not dry out all the seals in the engine?
  24. Turbo Brutale

Sorry.. Sleeping in lession I guess Just for curiosity, are your brakes 330mm? Oh yes! I will definitely hold them in their ears...
  25. Turbo Brutale

Ok. And do you use spacers rear? New bolts ordered for the front wheels. They will arrive on monday... Until then my car looks weird with a pair of winter and a pair of summer tires... I will have to use the MiTo during the weekend I guess I have a bad front wheel bearing and found out that the workshop did not do their job. I bought wheel bearings for them to change, but seems like they missed that point... The result is that I have to drive the 550km back to the workshop in a few weeks. I also found out that they had my new Magnecor spark plug wires there...
