Thanks! Will do! I have now ordered a VDO boost gauge, and a manual pressure regulator. There will be much easier to log any boost issues. Its not a hard cut off. Over 3000rpm it struggle to accelerate and are jumping a lot. It feels like it dosent want to give me any more. This is only a problem when trottle is over 50% ca. I WILL regap and install the new sparkplugs and check the hose as charlee mentioned. Thanks guys!

This is how my engine looks like now I still have issues with the boost. It feels just like this guy is describing:http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/alfa-gtv-and-916-spider/149155-where-is-located-the-fuel-filter-in-v6-tb.html I'm thinking to change the wastegate, and the "n75" valve or what it is called. I bought the full version of MES (MultiEcuScan) to try and sort out a few things, but since I have a Mac with a virtuell windows it is impossible to connect it to the car I have new spark plug leads, rotor, distribution cap and plugs (still not installed the BPR7) but the 6 that is in now are just used 3000km

I will use the wheels I have my winter tires on now. Fit perfectly on without any spacers or wobbly bolts
-
Not much, besides that the starter motor has decided not to work properly. It won't start when the engine is hot. It is not even clicking in the relay... Hehe A new starter is being searched after and hopefully installed before the snow arrives... I have a plan to change the plugs during the winter sleep. A new thermostat will be installed too. I also need to visit a exhaust garage, to fabricate a replacement for the cat. I have ordered two new rear wheel bearings from ricambi alfisti. I'm in search for a set of street slicks for next years track day meetings, but this is not a priority.

That cheap sportiva has caught my eyes as well. I want to convert my interior to electric seats, plus these seats cannot be compared to the standard MOMO seats in PH2 GTV/Spiders. They look good, but dont work. There is no side support, and they are quite hard...

http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/alfa-gtv-and-916-spider/377300-a-new-oil-leak.html If you search thorugh the forum, you will see that there is some problems with lekage in oil cooler as well.
-
There is a simmering between the engine and gearbox that is often broken on the TS models. That's probably where the oil leak is.

Haaaha! Do I have to remind you that Bohuslan was a Norwegian therf in the old days? I can always bring my lusekofte and take it back! LOL! I know that there is limited spring manufactures around. I will defineltley try, IF I feel that is the way to go... Otherwise Intrax is the final answer, and as a Norrbagge I dont hesitate to spend almost 2K Euros on something that dosent come with TUV certificate..

Ooo! I really like that LCD display! Maybe worth concidering! I would like one of these:

Alfastumper is a funny man... He bought cheap chassis parts from a company called hotbits in Taiwan (I think), rebranded them to zeatek and then sold them for a higher price. But you did get a good set for penny's! It is easier for me to meet you in København than in the forests of skokloster I have FK silverlineX on mine, and it is well known yellow Konis with their own springs. I like the dampers, but not the springs. But it is still a lot for your money! The TS has a lot more variety in coilovers than V6 models. See if you can get KW coilovers, as they use the same yellow Konis but again their own springs, witch I think is better! I will try to ask KW for a set of custom springs on my car some time in the future!

Haha norrbaggar! But i do occationally visit Biltema as well! My favorite candy shop Maybe we could meet. I'll check out where it is and calculate a route. I only live an hour from Strömstad

Wee need a Scandinavian meeting next season... Mantorp park? Speaking of Ultraleggera and Big brakes: I have a history of Ultraleggeras Have had them on all my cars... Sadly I have sold the wheels with the car both times, so buying my third set to the GTV the man behind the desk was a bit shocked :

Sweet Charlee! The 166 calipers fill in a bit more than the 3L i have on mine. Maybe I have to swap.... I have not noticed any more pedal traveling. Have you pumped out the air properly? But in general the pedal should travel a bit more as it have more volume to fill with oil...
-
Yes, I have thought of that.... But to produce new springs just for one customer is expencive too... I can adjust height and stiffness on the front axle, and only height on the rear. I do not have the springrate in my head, but change to a softer set of springs is an alternative. A question to FK is probably a good idea... I have a feeling that I will change to Intrax some day. Maybe not next year, but it is on my agenda... Expensive - yes, but sooooo good! I have a long e-mail conversation between me and them. I think the price was around 1900EUR! Credulone; sorry for hijacking your thread, but I have been MIA for a while here, and had some catching up to do I really LOVE your interior modification. Can I ask what you did with the original CD/radio? I need a silver one you see...

Yap. Will do when I get it back from the workshop. Thanks for the advice.

Hi. I can try When I start off normal and carefully everything seem to be fine. No jumping and engine runs perfect. If I however give full throttle it feels like it have some kind of resistance that is "holding" it back. There is still no jumping, but it can remind a bit of too high pressure on the exhaust side (eg. that the catalyst is plugged), or that the fuel/air mix is wrong when overboost is activated. I am using brand new NGK BPR6, but I have a set of BPR7 waiting to be installed. The car is currently at the workshop that did the engine rebuild, for a service, and to see if they can sort the problem. I hope this was a good enough explanation. Anyways, winter tyres are on and it looks a lot better from behind now than it did: MiTo went bananas

After a weekend trip to Sweden I have been able to uncover a small issue. Turbo will not activate the "overboost" function and it feels like it does not give as much pressure as it is supposed to. If I only use 50% of the throttle it goes nice and build up turbo pressure. Could it be a vacuum hose that is disconnected or not properly in place? I will have a look on this tomorrow.

Yap. Got my baby back! And she is perfect now! Yes the other GTV belongs to a friend of mine. A very nice and well set up GTV. It has a tweaked TS inside. Mine is running great. No jumping, but just a smooth and nice power delivery. Together with the Q2 diff it dances through the corners! I can hear a weak bearing coming from the rear. That will be this winters project... Edit: I see now that the car is grey! Stunning color anyway!
-
The color of your GTV is beautiful Thanos! Is it Vela Blue? How are the brakes?
-
The LCD glass can be flipped to the other side. In that way, you shift the contrast from light to dark... Hopeless explanation, but I hope you get my point!

Hehe Yes. The MiTo is a Twin Air Turbo, but it is not only hers. I use it more than she does. I love that car. I think I'm going to sell the Giulietta. I bought it on an auction.. Got it cheap, so hopefully I can make some money on it. Mito is small and nimble. Cheap running costs and responsive engine. Have driven it over 12000km already! Giulietta is a more "adult" car. Better soundproofed, more powerful engine and bigger. Drives superb and 120HK feels more like 135-140! I am looking for a new radio in the GTV as posted in another thread. I have now concluded with a barely used Becker with sat. nav. The model is called Indianapolis Pro, and looks like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/251324599277?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 An alternative Becker is this, that blends in nicely with the silver PH2 console, but are missing bluetooth: http://www.ebay.com/itm/300936471612?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 The Becker design blends in nice with the 90's design of the GTV. A big plus is that they have green illumination. The other alternative is this: http://www.pioneer.eu/no/products/25/121/61/DEH-X9500BT/page.html Price is the same for a used Becker as for the new Pioneer. Becker is famous for quality and premium sound. There must be a reason that all luxury cars in Europe have Becker as standard radio. Ferrari, Maserati and Porsche to mention someone... What do the 916 community say? I'll be happy for feedback!

... GTV is still not finished, but despite all waiting I have found some joy in my latest Alfa.. 2013 Giulietta: I need to sort out witch one to keep...
