Dosen't seem to be a hopeless project that GTV...

I'm in a planning phase that during next fall I will have a GT2560R on its way in and a programmable EMS. We will see what happens...

Interesting. I have been thinking about the GT2554R as a replacement for the one we have stock. Does this turbo need any re-mapping or any other "software"upgrading? Or is it just to smack one in, connect and drive?

Most important is that YOU are satisfied. And by any means, seats can not be worse than standard GTV ph2 anyway. It is only the look that I like about them... They give no support at all...

I have enough with my MiTo for the moment. Planning new wheels for her now. Need summertires and I have a nice deal on these brand new ones:

I know that. My grandpa had two. But I just like them as daily drivers. Really reliable engines and the build quality is great... The cabrio is great even in sub zero temperature as here in Norway.

Hi! Welcome! Nice and white GTV you have. Tell us more about modifications you have done? I see from the pictures that there is a lot of gravel around you. How is the GTV on those rough surfaces when it is lowered like yours?

Hmm. I might just buy a Sportiva then... Just to get the parts. I think there is still a cheap TS with some KMs up in Germany for sale. I have thought of that several times. Or just buy proper sport seats like Sparco or similar... Problem is that I like the look of GTV seats..

Dosent matter. They drive exellent on long journeys. Comfortable and powerful. Quite heavy and not too found of corners though..

Why is this hard to connect? A plug or two and some wires? Or is it a lot more?

Wich includes all meals, hotels, unlimited laps on nordschleife for 2 days. All in all not so expensive in other words... For me in Norway I did not have to pay any VAT.

Yap I do. Sorry I was in a rush. Had to pick up the MiTo from where the party was last night... Now the GTV has been parked in the garage again. I am on my way to work. Going offshore for 14 days then home again and continuing on the GTV. A friend of mine an me are attending Gran Turisimo Event on Nurburgring 7-10 may. Sorry, and I haven't read properly I guess.. I use a manual boost gauge. Probably not the best, but good enough for a indication.

Manual boost valve. As seen on picture in previous page. After a long day with troubleshooting I found even more loose jubilee clips. Stupid workshop that don't do things properly. I start to think what else that is wrong... After removing the wastegate acutator and checked this we started to think that this long axle to the wastegate should be adustable. I have seen several actuators on T25 turbos that are adjustable. Particularly on Nissans... We may preform a minor modification on this... To force the wastegate to be more closed... Anyways, We also started on a plan to weld some new exhaust pipes under the car and remove the catalytic converter. I will leave for work on monday and come home in 2 weeks. Then we will start to do some welding... After driving home from my friends garage now the car behaved different.. Suddenly it boosted over 1 bar without any trouble!
