M3 means more power and (at least for me) far less style. Those are so different cars, not only technically, but in a sense of people who drive them, they have a different set of values and car philosophy in general. I can't imagine myself in a BMW...

I love BOV sound too, I really do, but I found myself in conflict because BOV sound is not a GTV type of thing. It's too raw, too uncivilised, it's not something that an elegant Alfa coupe does. I always regarded to GTV as a dolphin, not a pit-bull! However, that's all just my nitpicking, if performance is your primary goal I am sure you'll enjoy it!

Fabio on the long gone www.gtvv6.com made a 3.0 V6 TB of his red bella. I remember it was insanely fast, 280 km/h easy as a pie!

Huh. I am a bit sad to hear this. Of course, Lotus is a real performer, but design wise is not my cup of tea. If love this style, why not save for an Alfa 4C?
