I love it! Just by shape and reflections you can see that it's something special!

I love the integrity of this international forum and I don't have need for any additional local support, but I understand motive behind the idea. Our Croatian part of Squadra is very low-traffic and most of messages there are about local meets, local services, shops, etc. and most users there are more comfortable to communicate that kind of stuff in their native language. So, I think that an experiment can do no harm. We can try it and see if it will fly - if not, it's easy to drop the whole idea.

Thanks Joris! The main advantage of such large disks is that it's impossible to overheat them on the road, and it's hard to do it even on the track. Also, as the callipers are on the longer arms, they seem to be more efficient so I felt there is no need to go for more powerful six pot brakes. As the disks are grooved and drilled the brakes are loud (you can hear wuuussshhh sound) and that is something I especially love as it's easier to drive when you have sound feedback from the brakes. Thanks to the light alloy centre piece the disks are not so much heavier than the original setup. Light alloy is quite fragile and during years I had to replace one dish as it cracked on several places after I got pads stuck because of rust on disks after some rain and a week of non-use. 19" wheels are must with such setup as 18" usually doesn't fit. Some 18" does fit (OZ Crono for example) but there is just 1 mm between the calliper and the wheel and I felt very uncomfortable with that (even a small stone between could do a lot of damage).

One more in "Rosso su rosso" series... It seems that our GTVs are beautiful from just about every angle! It's really hard to make a bad photo of 916!

I don't want to go any lower than this, it's on the edge of being usable and there are still many situations when I have to get out of the car to check the clearance.

Joris, don't listen to them, 19" is the choice!
