Spider is traded in so no sale for me. The head up display is the only option it misses, but all the wiring is already under the dash so should be easy fix to install the head up in the future, connect it and go. In cornering its also very good! the car has perfect weight balance 50/50, engine is placed far behind under dash, transmission is above rear wheel same with differential. you would be amazed how the car handles for an American, way different than the C4 ore older models, The C5 haves great race history because of its good performing. Yesterday we had Alfa meeting at Zoetermeer, i went with the Vette together with the Turbo Spider from Chris, Ed and Robert as passenger. Nice run on the highway together until we where destroyed by 1980 Scirocco with a 20/25k Vr6 turbocharged engine under the hood… We had good laugh eventually.

Haha Targa is not convertible you right, but the feeling is the same when you drive convertible with winddeflecter, so its perfect when cruising, when above 140 you get drone noise with windows up, so they stay down I'm not that big American fan, i only love the C5 because its so nice and clean! Also like a an older C3 model with chrome bumpers but it drives like shit...

So guys, its time for an update about the status of the Spider... Its no longer in my garage, i really wanted something completely different, but offcourse topless. If found a manuel transmission 6 speed Corvette C5, the minute i have seen it in the showroom i found my new love. The Corvette is extreme in everyting, its low, its very very wide and its very brutal... The 5.7 liter V8 is a killer engine, so much torque very impressive in combination with the 6-speed manuel transmission. The car is all standard, but as you now me that will change, and it will get lots of love from me in the future. It was hard to let the Spider go at the garage, but must say i don't really mis her yet. I will keep hanging arround here and follow other projects, perhaps in the future i will buy a nice Gtv 24v. Thanks for all the great response on the car, it gives the hobby some extra drive. Rare set of 18" Zender Siena. They don't come any bether then this! Set is completely original, never been resprayed and are minimal used. Also the inside are perfect, offcourse never been welded almost like a new set! Tires are 4x Dunlop Sportmaxx with +/- 5mm (must meassure for correct) Price is high : 1200,- euro otherwise i will keep them... you never know ;-) More pics if serieus interested.

Siena's are in the Piazza. Steering wheel rebuild cost about 300/350 euro.

El pipes are from same welder i think, contact from Mathieu, my mid and end section are custom made by Pm performance. Steering wheel is from 166 limmitata, i don't see them allot but check out ebay. Pirodesign rebuild it, check also carsdream.com. The like new Siena's will be for sale if the Spider is sold to Mathieu...

Thanks mate! Sound is changed a little with new front pipes, more pitchy. Yesterday i took the horror sideroad to my wedding location and did not touched the ground! So Spider will be at my wedding also even its not my wedding car! Also cleaned the car big time, the 2 hour drive to Eps was in the rain wich i normally avoid... So she was all sandy and dirty... The wheels were all black, shitty job to clean them...

Last friday i got my new Equal length front pipes redone by Eps exhaust. Truly magnificent work, this guys are artists! Because Spider is lowered big time the old front pipes touched the ground when roads were bad, and they were terrible made because this other company didn't know what they were doing… But sound was great. So i bought new pipes and went to best exhaust company in the Netherlands. The guy that worked on my car makes exhausts for over 25 years! I won 3,5 cm more ground distance with same pipes, amazing! Even the front manifold is modified, took them 4 hours to instal. So now we can set the Spider i little more lower and drive ''normal'' again. Some pics from before and after.

The original 19'' Ti's have offset of 41 and are 8j wide, with 20mm adapting the offset wil become 21 def not going to fit. I've tried the wheels with 15mm adapting and the front is just little out for my taste, you can change offset of the wheels with 3mm maximum but even then… not sure. 41 + 3 - 15 is offset of 29 its a close one, you just have to try i guess.

Find it sadly myself also so i am not in a hurry but feels like needing new challenge stronger and stronger... We will see wat happens, meanwhile i will keep going strong and enjoying the Spider Next week the front pipes are going to be remade so i can set the car just a little lower

Hi Karsten, There where 5mm spacers used, sadly the Siena's are off now, the Gtv go's for sale today on ugly 18'' Evolution wheels i still had. I will make picture directly from behind today for you. The system original was quad Novitec dtm but end pipes where changed for this 2 chrome exits. On Topic : The Ti's are not coming on the Spider they won't fit like i want them to fit... With the 15mm adapters they still coming 5mm to far outside for my taste so i'm done… Botticelli's are staying for now, for not having seen them on the car for a while i am really happy how the car looks. The Siena's from the Gtv are going to other member here because i bought the Siena's from Diabolik! Truly like new, original spec never been painted or whatever. I have had 6 different sets of 18'' Siena's now and this set is by far the cleanest i have seen! Thinking about polishing the lips again myself, and going to change ugly logo's for the original 60mm 159 Ti they fit straight on and look amazing. I bought the Siena's because i thinking about selling the Spider next year… after 7 years of Spider and then 8 years i have seen it all... The Spider is in the best shape it can get and the new Siena's will complete the overall picture wen selling the car. I'am def not in a hurry selling it just for next year i will look for Lotus S2 ore Tvr Griffith. Have some tiny updates to come i really like to complete. Got 2 spare siena's with damaged lips, i maybe have something special in mind, have spoken a company that can build them with wider lips like if original! How do you mean Siena's are rare???

Gtv is almost ready! Given it lots of love... Saved it from demolition! Replaced the rear bumper for nice one without pdc holes and scratches Replaced the brakes and drive shaft, fixed exhaust. Drivers seat was damaged bad, leather was cracked and there was a hole in the side, frame was broken... Got a nice passenger seat and build the leather and foam on to the fixed frame. Exhaust pipes changed for 2 exit, white bulbs on the side etcetcetc... Last but not least i cleaned it up BIG time!
