  1. Cabin heat from exhaust. Common?

As Carlo mentions the catalytic converter gets hot but the heat shields shall protect against that the heat migrates up into the cabin, if the heat shields are missing it will get warm in the cabin. Also, too much unburnt fuel that is burning up in the catalytic converter can give the same phenomenon, failure of ignition, temperature sensor, etc. may be the reason for this and it will hurt catalytic converter in the long run.

  6. TB vs V6 24V

They are two beasts with slightly different character, TB pulls harder at low to medium rpm but at ~5k rpm will 3.0 24V catch up and rev. more freely and pull harder to red line. TB is easier and 'cheaper' to tune with a noticeable effect on horsepower/torque. TB is easier and 'cheaper' to replace the timing belt on and do not put the same stress on the timing belt as 3.0 24V (thinking of the interval between the need for replacement here). You do not need to adjust the valves on 3.0 24V, but on TB it's usually only the exhaust valves that need to be adjusted and that is not to hard. TB have a little ancient ignition system (rotor, distributor cap, etc.) that must be in good condition or else will the TB not run well. Both are lovely cars.
  7. The TBI!

So, the day finally came. Got my precious OZ Utlraleggera HLT on! Spot on in my opinion! And after removing the TMC software from the car some weeks ago I wanted more power. Yesterday I went to a tuning specialist and he remapped the car properly! This is the best mods I've done to the car. 240HP and 400NM! New clutch needed soon ..... new clutch needed soon ...... new clutch needed soon

  17. My well used and modified Spider TS.

Those upgrades looks really good , good work.
  18. My well used and modified Spider TS.

Most of the brake force on a 916 (FWD) is managed by the front brakes, rear brake task is more to keep the rear end in place. I use the 330mm brake discs and 6 pot calipers at front with OE rear brakes and it works very well.
  19. It's a Hi from Sumran_Domguy

Errrr .... steering wheel on the wrong side , but what the fuck ... welcome in the 916 swamp.
  20. New Giulia

Yes hell ... the car has power and probably handling too so why not show it in the look of the car, BMW, Mercedes and Audi owners will still stick to their tedious cars despite Alfas boring design. .
  21. New Giulia

I am inclined to agree with you, too much streamline German, Korean, Jap design but with little bit of character (but Alfas has often not been looking good in pictures, often it is quite another thing when seen in the flesh), I do not like the lower front grille also the shark fin is very retro in a bad way, looked silly on BMW and even worse on an Alfa. Quite similar?
  22. New Giulia

    See post # 4.
