Wow looking good, I love the colour of your hood! Have you resprayed her yourself?

Thanks guys, it's starting to come together now, the paint work needs major some tlc to be fair lots of little scratches i will get some close up pics. Yep buddy the exhaust is next old one off and straight in the bin lol The quads ready to go on, but bumper needs to be cut first as well as sourcing another exhaust hanger bracket. So next few jobs after rear exhaust and new front down pipe is fitted, fitting the powerflex doglegs, fitting the brake compensator and fitting steering gaitor then cambelt time. Well it was baking hot today a rare thing in the uk so really missing my spider, thinking of maybe having a fiat coupe 16v turbo engine dropping as sick of the twinspark, it only had a new cambelt kit fitted a month before the Big Bang lol!
-
I don't know why but the photos I take on my I phone always go on sideways it's so annoying lol! A few more
-
O and the finished pics of the tan interior on black, really undecided if i should buy a cup spliiter n side skirts now.....she is looking gooooooood!
-
Look the business bud
-
I'm after the side skirts n front splitter
-
Do you sell the cup front splitter, I think your replicas look good I have just never been a fan of the sides I prefer the biscione ones they seem to suit the lines of the car better IMHO
-
Not sure what to do, rebuild engine £1500 or second hand one with all belts done £700. This will really slow down the v6 project as I had £550 put aside for the cambelt but if I repair the spider that will be gone. Might have to sell the 156 sport and throw the money at both 916s but the 156 is fantastic on diesel with 50mpg. Got some thinking todo, might have to loose a alfa
-
well i must be a sucker for punishment!! looks like another project on my hands, my love affair with the alfa spider has come to the same fate as my very first spider!?! bloody twinsparks..... driving to work and.......BANG!!! the bottom end failed
-
Hi and welcome, is it a ts or v6?
-
what lowering sping did you use, mine are 30mm but would like it lower like yours
-
nice car simon? interesting front number plate position, is your gtv lowered? any pics of that red interior!?!
-
wow proper hardcore, fantastic work well done i am replacing my headliner, is it fairly straight forward or do i have to remove anything like the rear parcel shelf?
-
lol nope i dont like red carpet or red leather, imho its very bmw and pimpish (sorry) i just dont like it. Mitch my house went on the market yesterday so you never know lol! i need a double garage plus we have a little edition to the family. over the years i have had every colour carpet now so a old pro but for anyone interested in swapping out there carpet this is a good guide, http://www.alfaowner.com/Forum/alfa-gtv-and-916-spider/356193-project-black.html the main thing is to make sure the air bag lead is threaded through the carpet the tan carpet and interior is in just side plates to go back on, its gone dark now but will get some proper picks n the morning. i have to say it does look good

-
Wow great pics buddy, your gtv is looking the bomb!!
-
gaincho no idea what that pic is ment to mean? Yep joe recieved the exhaust, it's like new lol! I'm going to take it to exhaust specials to fit it correctly so both pipes sit flush and finish off with the autodelta rear apron so hopefully make good use of it

not really had much spare time to play with the v6 but took the spider in for a cambelt kit and had the front end lowered with 30mm springs, a little disapointed as i expected them to be sat just above the wheels baybe when i do the back it will sit right?
