Hi Everyone, My name is Leo, from Melbourne Australia. I have a red 1998 Alfa Romeo GTV 3.0 24v Phase 1, with a tanned leather interior and 100,000km on the clock (assuming its genuine). I bought it for a bargain 8 or 9 years ago, but it hasn't been easy. Lots of things needed fixin' so I paid the difference in the end. It was more of a weekend car for many years as public transport was more convenient. But now that I've moved out into the 'burbs I drive it every day. Recently, having considered parting with it and buying something else sporty, I've decided to keep it, and spend some money updating it (for the 21st Century?), in a way I never allowed myself before. It's rekindled my passion for the car, and thus I discovered this website. So, I bought new rims which really lift the cars looks. I then had the boot/trunk ripped off a wrecked Phase 2 for the spoiler as well as its ragazzon 4 exhausts. Oh, the beautiful noise it now makes at low revs. I feel like I'm playing Forza Horizons on Xbox in a supercar. But the most insane thing I've done is buy a Cup replica body kit, which I'm yet to fit. The price, along with shipping, and spraying is totally stupid in hindsight, but I've just fallen in love with the GTV Cup look. I've never seen anything like that in Melbourne. It's my wallpaper. Drool. I intend to post some pictures to the site when it's done. Maybe even a Youtube video, if I'm happy with the way it turns out. I'm not planning to do anything else power wise, because it seems plenty powerful now. Although I do have a question or two, for another site section. I've passed on the other Alfa sites in the past, but it's great to finally find people with this particular GTV passion. Cheers, Leo
