Thanks for the input, guys, I really appreciate it. What do you think about dividing the events section into regions? As Squadra916 is an international site, international events are pretty hard to organise on a weekly/monthly basis. However, Howler has a very good suggestion with appointing regional organisers.

There approximately 200 visits a day and here are the visit statistics for the last year.

Yeah, we should have team building

Filip, I agree with you in some points. The forum is small, but I wouldn't say that there is no regional power. Secondly, I am not talking about any big changes, just a new section, e.g. Section XY with sub forums for whatever the regions would be). So it wouldn't change the forum structure at all. I was asking to see if there is any point in doing that and if yes, which regions would be supported. The problem is that users are not active. We have more than 500 users and only about 40 of them are daily visitors. That's less than 10%. There is absolutely no casual talk or off topic on the forum and it feels a bit too cold for me. So, this idea was to get members to visit more often and post more on a daily basis.

Hi everyone, hope you had a great weekend There are some things I would like to share with you. First of all, you probably noticed the new logo (if not, hit refresh a couple of times in your browser to update the image). The old logo was good (in my opinion), but I felt it needed a bit of polishing so this is what I came up with. It should be a permanent solution from now on. I hope you like it. And I'm happy to announce that there will soon be lots of Squadra916 t-shirts, mugs, jackets, and some other special things available for purchase in our new store! It's still in the making and I'm working hard to get it done in the next few days, so keep your eyes open

Thanks Colcam! Glad you like it One more new thing. You can now have an image for your topic in the 'Our 916s' section on the forum. You can change the image by clicking on it.

I refurbished my console. Sanded everything down and put a few layers of 2K clear lacquer, then sanded down with fine sandpaper and polished with Meguiars Ultracut for that nice shine Still haven't mounted it back as I have to finish a LED conversion for the heating controls.

The Raid was a bit too small for the 916 interior IMHO. This one is perfect!

it's great! How much smaller is it? Not a lot I guess...

Still waiting for pics of the mounted steering wheel

I am happy to announce the Squadra916 Links Directory which can be accessed here or by clicking the link at the top. Everyone is able to add their own links to the available categories. If you have any ideas for new categories, please let me know. Let's make this the largest 916 database. All new links have to be authorised by the mod team, so don't panic if you don't see your link right away.
-
Hmmm, is everyone afraid of posting some links? Come on guys, let's get the directory going

We have passed the 500 members mark. Thank you for being part of Squadra916!

I read rants about the heater knobs, etc... But people obviously misunderstood the concept of the car.

If you used a spray can, then it's not 2K. Tre problem with spray can paint is that it's not resistant at all. You can remove the paint with petrol. There are 2K paint in spray cans but they are very rare and are mostly clear. You could maybe get a quality 2K matt clear layer on top of the covers to make it bulletproof No need for it to be heat resistant really...
-
I know it's wrinkle paint, but I was asking if it's 2K (two part or two component). Is it resistant to petrol?
-
What paint did you use? Is it 2K?
