You don't need to remove the shelf, only the A-pillar covers
-
I am still waiting for a quote.
-
I will definitely get an internal one in the future
-
Thanks. I have a roof antenna colourcoded. The previous owner decided to drill a hole in the roof for an antenna and I had to do something. I will remove it when the car gets a respray. The rear antenna is unplugged.

Here is a photo of the door/main loom partially unwrapped. I am running wires to the right door for the outside temperature sensor. I didn't get a new door mirror, just the sensor so it is needed to drill a hole and fix/glue the sensor inside the mirror. I have crimped/soldered most of the wiring for the P2 climate unit, applied heatshrink to needed places, etc. Still need to wire the temp sensor, HRW switch and speedo signal output. Then I will wrap all cables in OEM style textile loom tape, but only after I test all connections. To have a fully working aircon, I will have to find the piping from a P2 TB. So if anyone knows one that's breaking for parts, please let me know. I still have to install the climate unit, but will replace the foam on the ducting connections first. It has seen better days.

305x28 GTV/GTA discs? You don't have to grind the caliper because of the bracket, but because of the hub 'ears'. The caliper is too close to the hub.
-
Look at the caliper.
-
No, I am not. If you use 305 discs it is too close to the hub and you have to grind the calipers. Maybe not on a TS, but on my TB I had to do that.
-
I don't think I have photos. Mine are the same. They are black powdercoated steel.
-
I will let you know tomorrow.
-
I could get you adaptors for 305 discs.
-
Just try a search on the forum, you will find much more info. OEM GTV V6 calipers are a no-go. 166 has 150mm and GTV/old GTA have 130mm between the bolts.
-
You HAVE TO grind the calipers if you use 305 discs. GTA discs are 330x32 and too wide for the caliper. You could remove 2mm of each pad to make them fit. 166 calipers have large pads and are good for 330 discs.
-
I meant 330x28 discs, sorry. You can use 166 calipers.
-
Get 300x28 discs (new Lancia Delta TB, etc, do a search on the forum), drill the discs for 5x98 PCD and then make brackets. I'll ask a friend if he possibly did something like this before.

I really don't see a reason why it should fail. It looks like it just left the factory
